A wery exhausting week
Loksins komin helgi og síðustu tvær vikur eru búnar að vera hreint og beint algjört "disaster", enda einar af þessum vikum sem Hagaskóla dettur allt í einu í hug að láta rigna niður á okkur endalausum prófum. Ef ekki fyrir hæfileikann til þess að geta lært fyrir próf á örskotstíma-með stuttum fyrirvara væri ég sennilega dáin af leiðindum (eða verra, sæti uppi með hræðilegan vitnisburð).
Á milli þess sem ég hef legið í bókum og glósublöðum hef ég ekki gert mikið annað en að taka strætó í karatetíma um hánætur og ganga svo um dimm stræti á leiðinni heim, og svo þegar ég loksins kem heim horfi ég kannski á nokkra þætti af þáttaröðinni Sledge Hammer til kl. 10:30, undirbý svo morgundaginn og geri sjálfa mig tilbúna í háttinn til kl. 11:15, les og læri svo uppi í rúmi til 11:45, sofna svo kl. 00:55 og vakna daginn eftir kl. 07:05. Please comment ef þið vitið hvort þetta er healthy, I myself have no clue.
Jæja, nú er loksins komin helgi eftir síðasta prófið, og ég andvarpa þegar ég hugsa um undanfarnar tvær vikur. Þrátt fyrir að mér gekk skínandi vel á öllum prófunum hafði ekki verið skemmtilegt að læra undir þau, eina prófið sem ég naut þess að læra undir var efnafræðiprófið. (By the way, I got a solid 10 on that one! How´s that for a good test result?)
Samt get ég ekki fullkomlega hatað þennan liðna tíma. Eftir allt, það var kominn tími á að gera Sledge Hammer að þungamiðju drama-hliðar lífs míns aftur. Þessi andi er svo smitandi að innan stundar the whole family is soaked in it. Enda eru ekki til betri þættir!!!! Allt síðan ég fyrst sá þá on screen hef ég alltaf getað notað þá til að mkoma mér í gott skap! Fyrir þá sem eru endalaust að lesa undir próf, og hafa stutt study break mæli ég með þeim. They´re the perfect antidote. (Oh yes, alltaf mun kolklikkaður karlmaður sem talar við byssuna sína vera velkominn á okkar heimili!!! ; ) )
Og svona í lokin, hér er eitt af uppáhaldsatriðum mínum úr Sledge Hammer:
Lögreglukapteinninn er nýbúinn að kalla inn Sledge og félaga hans Dori Doreau og er að fara að tala við þau, á meðan Sledge er að reyna að grípa flugu sem flýgur um herbergið og heyrist greinilegt suð úr.
Captain Trunk: Ok, the reason of why I called you in is because...Hammer...Hammer what are you doing?!
Sledge Hammer: Don´t worry sir...Pass control! Fwa!!! (dregur fram byssuna, miðar og skýtur, hvellurinn ómar áberandi í herberginu.)Dang! Just winged him!!
Captain Trunk: (Öskrandi) HAMMER!!!!!!!Gimme that gun so I can kill ya!!!!!!!
Sledge Hammer: I was just trying to protect you sir. Flies are filth! and they can spread disease.
Captain Trunk: (Öskrandi) YOU´RE A DISEASE!!!And I survived you...BARELEY!!!
Sledge Hammer: You seem upset.
LOL!!!!!Kannski þarf að sjá þetta á skjánum til að finnast þetta mjög fyndið, en mér finnst alltaf alveg æðislegt þegar Captain Trunk segir línuna: Gimme that gun so I can kill ya!

Hahaha þetta væri sammt örugglwega fyndnara áskjánum en allavwega það er eiginlega alltaf þannig. Já ég er ekki búinað taka Korkuprófið svo að ég tek það á þriðjudaginn :(:(:(:@:@ hata próf!

Ah, trust me, á skjánum er þetta ógeðslega fyndið!!!: D : D : D Um leið og ég fæ svona klippi forrit (or something) ætla ég að reyna að fara að birta klippur úr þáttum, þ.á.m. þessa "klippu"!!!; )
En, yes gangi þér vel með Korkuprófið, og við sjáumst í skólanum!

a ---V---ery exhousting week isn't it? I love sledgehammer! He is one of the funnyest shows ever made! But I hate tests! My teachers have a habit of not telling us about them until the same day or the class that we have to take the test! GRR! And their excuse is: We poster it on mentor so you should have known all about it!! AS IF! with that glitching program you cant see anything! They are responsible for letting us know about exams before hand- Announcing them repeatly in class and sending e-mails to those who are sick not trusting the internet! Then if you have decided to use "menntor" not everyone even post the homework- they do it only occationally!! It's like that sistem was made to make the students studying harder! GRRR! And then they have that "sýmat" so we haves tests almost every week. OK maybe finally you have taken the exams in all the subjects. Finally you're done and think you have some time to relax. But then only three days later there's another exam and it begins all over again! And on top of that all the teachers apparantly think that we have nothing else to do than study so they add tons of homework on us too! We have sports and music and all sorts of extra classes after school and we want some time to spend with our friends! But instead we come home exhousted from school and have to study through the whole night! Yes! We have to do our homework at night! And we lose sleep! I mean we aren't at school anymore we are at home where we should be able to relax! We cant waste 20 years of our lifes doing NOTHING else than studying! It's the point in our lifes that matters most and will have the most outcome on our lifes! We should have some time for fun too! When teachers give us this much work to do most just give up! We cant take it! And our grades start dropping! Mine have been dropping dramaticly from 8-10 to 5-7 It's just horrible! My math teacher for excample: She gives us the same dull project every week! We have to do 6 pages with the same 12 problems and every problem in fact has 14 problems so we have to do 1008 problems in one class!! There's just no way! with four math classes every week makes it 4032 problems a week! And of course if we don't finish it in class we have to do it at home with a extra work sheet! And this has been going on since the school year startet (fall 2006) with no change whatsoever! Everybody has long since become dulled with this! We never have anything diffrent it's always the same! And she thinks it should be no problem for us to do this! she thinks we're just lazy! And then she's not even a good explainer! She just teaches us the formulas to solve the problems! We don't understand it at all! We're just like some kind of robots who solve 1008 problem in 40 min! The boys in class have always been trying to tell her that but she doesnt listen! All the other groups have something new to spice up the subject and make it more understandable but not us! And then she kalls the exams "kannanir" insted of "próf" when they come out on our future grades! Every "könnun" is about 30% of our final grade! It just irritates me so much! I'm starting to feel very depressed becourse of all the pressure our school dumps on me! I envy you so much for being quick at studying it takes me hours! At least the thought of sledgehammer always cheers me up! :) 640 words... oops! maybe this is a MUCH too long comment! sorry!
